| According to the South Carolina Roster of Revolutionary War Soldier, page 592, Samuel McBee served in the militia under Colonel McDonald and General Marion. A.A.4875.C. Samuel apparently settled in Horry County, South Carolina as he shows up in the 1810, 1820, and 1830 S. C. Census. He shows up in the 1800 Waccamaw County, South Carolina Census. Samuel is always listed as Samuel Magby. | ||||
